Maida Vale Family Session
a London farewell
When Jamila asked me to capture their family photos in Maida Vale, a place they had called home for the past several years, the answer was of course a resounding yes. As a fellow expat, I understand how important it is to document the formative years of living abroad in a foreign country, and this family wanted to capture their memories in the gardens outside their flat before returning to the States to be closer to family.
London summers are absolutely magical – the days are incredibly long, everyone is in a great mood because they’re seeing the sun for the first time in what feels like months, and there’s a plethora of Bank Holidays to enjoy. The Dunfee family wanted to capture the essence of their neighborhood, and in the perfection of London summer, we took a stroll through their neighborhood, before spending time in the sunny gardens with their two beautiful daughters – a dream!
