If you’re looking for a magical place for your family or maternity session, look no further than the Hill Garden and Pergola in Hampstead. This North London gem is absolutely stunning, with overgrown draping vines in the summer and hints of wisteria in spring, remnants of one Lord Leverhulme’s mansions and the extravagance of a day gone by.
This hidden spot was taken over by the City of London in the 80s and some of its magic comes from the ‘secret garden’ dilapidation of its faded columns and pillars. It’s worth a wander around, and you may even find yourself staying a while for a picnic in its serene gardens.

I absolutely adored this maternity session set beneath the pergola vines in Hampstead. We wandered around, found hidden corners of light, and let their daughter play as we celebrated Beyza’s pregnancy.
